Neosapien sniper girl by nuclear-metallity Neosapien sniper girl by nuclear-metallity
My fiction character, Neosapien female sniper Anviel.

Don't let her "elf-like" name lead you astray :) she is brutal cold-hearted warrior. Since she was created in the same brood with Thrax (most skilled e-frame pilot) she can be considered as his brood sister.

She is my probable "self" within the Exosquad universe.

...and yes, I know Exosquad is quite unpopular, but I don't care. I just love Neosapiens.

Exosquad.
I always wondered why there were female Neo-sapiens. If they were never intended to reproduce and were created to do back-breaking physical labor, you'd think their creators wouldn't have bothered with making females. Was it ever explained? My knowledge of that show is very patchy :P

That said, it's nice to see another female Neo since there didn't seem to be that many of them around in the show. And I LOVE her boots! I forgot that Neo-sapiens had those cute feet, and you've really pulled them off well! I love the little rainbow lights on the gun too! And there's a whole smootheness and elegance to the piece that really makes her seem graceful and alive.

Since we can't see her face, I've gotta know....what is her broodmark? Is it the same as Thrax's, since they came from the same brood? Or is it different? The broodmarks always confused me because I thought they were supposed to identify what brood each Neo-sapien came from, but I also remember that Phaeton and Marsalla both came from the same brood but had different marks. I just didn't get it :P

Lovely pic! Talking about the show with you has made me want to go and hunt up some fanart for it, but there isn't much, so I'm glad you drew some :D

I thought they didn't have anything to create life with so I made a story around a Neosapien that was able to conceive but was kept a secret. The discovery places Marsala once again at odds against the Terrans at a time when they are still deciding the fate or the Neos and of Phaetons clone.
Wow, poor Alec.  It must have been really tough for him to know that, after rescuing him, Marsalla helped out his captors.  Still, I can understand the lengths someone would go to in order to save their species from extinction.  Definitely an interesting idea you've got here.

In my opinion, they were not intended to concieve and give birth, but they did have eggs and sperm etc which were used to make embryos artificially. So there are males for hard types of work and females for accurate types of work (plantations, factories etc).

I like their feet too :) I think such anatomy is useful in Martian environment.

I've not thought much of her broodmark, but maybe one day I will draw her without helmet.
Exosquad unpopular? Such heresy! Under-rated maybe, Though I'm still waiting for them to publish Season 2 on DVD.

Picture wise, the Boots are AAA++, the Gun design is super-plus neat. I do kinda want to see a separate shot so you can see more of her face. All in all Very well done!
